Debate Continues Over US Gun Laws

Hello,everyone!

The reason why I chose this article is that I was interested in gun-society and its law of America. In Japan, gun possession is prohibitted by law. So Japanese people don't almost know the actual conditions of American gun-society and law. This article is interesting for me to be able to know American notions of gun somehow. I thought that Japanese people also need to know and debate about gun.

[What do you think about American gun-society?(Discussion Question)]
American gun-society has aspects of good and bad points. I think that gun is a kind of symbol for America. That's because gun is one of the important means to defend myself and people in America. However, the present condition that using guns causes brutal crime is also the fact. So, American people should debate more about gun and its laws from now on.

  1. Some Americans see guns as a very important part of their constitutional rights. In the UK we find this all quite strange.
When you can have young people buying automatic weapons and going around campus murdering people, then something is wrong!!
